- Operating a Goshala for Cow Protection
We have been running a dedicated Goshala in Duggipalli, Nalgonda District, Telangana, since our inception.
This provides a safe haven for cows in need.
This service underscores our dedication to animal welfare and cultural preservation.
Key Aspects of the Service
• Current Capacity and Care: Our facility currently shelters over 100 cows. They are rescued from various challenging circumstances, such as abandonment or risk of slaughter. Each cow receives daily nutritious feed, clean water, and spacious enclosures.
• Veterinary and Health Support: Regular health check-ups, vaccinations, and prompt treatments are provided by on-site veterinarians. We implement preventive care measures to maintain a healthy herd.
• Sustainable Practices: The Goshala incorporates eco-friendly methods. This includes using cow dung for organic manure and biogas production. This supports local agriculture and reduces environmental impact.
• Community Benefits: This service protects cows and also supplies ethical dairy products to nearby communities at affordable rates. It promotes self-sustainability and job creation for local caretakers.
Through this ongoing service, we have successfully rehabilitated numerous cows, preventing cruelty and fostering a model of humane animal husbandry.
- Daily Food Donations for Street Dogs
Addressing the plight of stray animals is a core part of our mission.
We provide daily food donations to street dogs, ensuring they receive nourishment and care in urban and rural areas.
Program Highlights
• Daily Reach: Every day, our team feeds over 100 street dogs across designated locations in Hyderabad and surrounding areas. Meals consist of balanced, hygienic food (rice, vegetables, and protein) to meet their nutritional needs.
• Health and Population Control: Alongside feeding, we conduct periodic health drives. This includes deworming, anti-rabies vaccinations, and sterilization programs to humanely manage stray populations and prevent disease spread.
• Volunteer Involvement: This service relies on a network of dedicated volunteers for food preparation, distribution, and monitoring. We also educate the public on responsible animal feeding.
Impact Achieved: This initiative has reduced starvation among strays, improved their overall health, and decreased incidents of aggression due to hunger. This service continues to grow.
- Free Education Support for Needy Children
